Color Guard

The color guard consists of students who have a passion for pageantry and seek to audition for this part of the marching band. Serving as a visual component of the band, the guard showcases flag and dance performances synchronized to the music played on the field. Students participating in the guard program will receive specialized training in dance, flag, and performance weapons such as rifle and saber.

The Fall Guard is the marching guard for the East Coweta Marching Indians (ECMI).  Any student in good standing at East Coweta High School is welcome to audition for the color guard. Auditions take place in late spring each year. The color guard accompanies the Marching Band to all football games, festivals, and competitions.  The Winter Guards are separate performance ensembles that compete in the Southern Association for Performance Arts (SAPA) and the Winter Guard International national (WGI) Winter circuits.
